About Silvermere Gymnastics

We had a dream, and then we made it real. Having previously operated from a mixed-use facility, we wanted a dedicated home for young gymnasts where we can provide our special blend of superb coaching, high class equipment and a great atmosphere – focussed exclusively on the love of gymnastics and a passion for learning. So we drew up our wish-list of features, added lots and lots of hard work, and popped the lot into an amazing location which is easy to reach with ample parking.

We hope you’ll agree that what we have built is a centre for enthusiasm, achievement and fun. A place where each young gymnast can express themselves, explore their potential and go further. A place where high expectations are met and limitations are exceeded.

Our team

The enthusiasm and attention to detail of the coaches, plus the framework provided by British Gymnastics, means that coaching standards are seamlessly consistent and rigorously high across the entire Silvermere team.

Katie De La Rosa

Katie started Gymnastics aged five at Woking Gym Club within their women’s artistic squad and was competing at national elite level for six years. She began coaching in 2011 and is BG qualified in General and Womens Artistic gymnastics. Katie managed at an outdoor adventure centre where she gained her level 3 Management NVQ. A qualified fitness instructor, she loves running and rock climbing too!

Connor Baker

Connor grew up with the gymnastics club his mum ran and has been coaching for ten years. After leaving University with a Sports Science degree he took over Byfleet Gymnastics Club in 2013. He has BG coaching qualifications in General and FreeStyle gymnastics and is currently working towards his Mens Artistic discipline. He loves playing and watching cricket and rugby.
